Four Teams are participating in the Hi-Level Tourney which starts at 12pm at NEO2 (Gulberg).

1. Renegades, 2. shOck, 3. HIV+, 4. Heat

Each team will play against the other team. The two teams with the highest points will play the Final match. The defending champions are 'R' (Renegades).

WCG Announces Official Titles for 2006 Competition!

The World Cyber Games Committee has announced the eight titles that will serve as official games for the 2006 World Cyber Games. The six PC games and 2 console games include: StarCraft: Brood War (PC); Warcraft3: Frozen Throne (PC); Half-Life: Counter-Strike 1.6 (PC); Warhammer 40,000: Winter Assault (PC); FIFA Soccer 06 (PC); Need for Speed: Most Wanted (PC); Dead or Alive 4 (Xbox 360) and Project Gotham Racing 3 (Xbox 360). WCG 2006 Grand Final will be held in Monza, Italy this October.

Notice that Counter Strike Source has been replaced by CS 1.6! Welldone!

Match Room @ Neo2 - Update

The match room at NEO2 is ready for matches. It will primarily be used for tournaments and for friendly clan matches on a first come first serve basis or bookings on weekends.

Also, when all the other PCs are being utilized, the gamers will be allowed to play in the match room.

ROCK HAWKS win the RedAlert2 Tournament (Feb 12th)

Seven teams particpated in the first ever RedAlert2 (2 on 2) tournament at NEO1. There were 3 teams from NEO1(Defence) and 4 from NEO3 (ModelTown).

Rock Hawks (Dr Death & 2tango) from NEO3 won the tournament. Desperado and Punisher came 2nd.

Thanks to all who participated and made it a good event. A 3 on 3 RedAlert2 tourney is up next in March. The pictures will be posted soon in the neo gallery.

CS Friendly Matches at NEO1

It was a day of Counter Strike! We had the following teams for friendly CS matches today.

RedSkullz, Pwn Inc., V6, Synergy, IronEagles and H3O.

Pwn Inc. dominated the matches until they were beaten by Iron Eagles. The last match was played between RedSkullz and IronEagles. Iron Eagles beat RedSkullz in a closely contested match. The demos will be uploaded in the CS Demos Section of Neo's website (http://www.neomatrixgaming.com/csdemos/)

CS Tournament Results :: Hi-Level, Mid-Level & Amateur

MID LEVEL
oD has won the Mid-Level tourney (2-1) after an intense 3-map match with Infection-MMA. Welldone oD.
I need to add here that Infection-MMA have indeed shown an outstanding performance. Within such a short span of time they have been able to reach the final of the mid-level. Excellent gaming!

HI LEVEL
R has won the Hi-Level tourney due to a walk-over from AxA. Cypher came 3rd.

Today, January 1st, we had both Hi Level and Mid Level CS tourneys at NEO1 and Neo2. Thanks to ASUS for sponsoring our Mega Event.

Neo1 > Mid Level Teams: MI6, M, TPF, Infection-MMA and oD.
Neo2 > Hi Level Teams: R, Cypher, Al-AxA, X3 and SKunK

For Mid Level, the semi finalists were MI6, M, Infection-MMA and oD
In the semis, Infection-MMA beat M in a big upset match. oD beat MI6 in the 2nd semifinal.

In the Hi-Level tourney, R and Al-AxA made it to the finals. Cypher came 3rd.
